A clamp is a band made of stainless steel that is clamped on the exhaust pipe. An exhaust system mounted on a clamp is very easy to install and remove. The clamp is designed to tightly and evenly clamp the parts of the exhaust system to merge it. For a permanent and tight connection, you can additionally use a sealing paste, which hardens when exposed to temperature.
